We are geeks for it! So we dragged Uncle Ben to Mt. Vernon (not that he was kicking and screaming or anything)

No photos allowed INSIDE the mansion.. so, we went a little crazy on the grounds.. Ya know.. George knew what he was doing, he has a nice spot o' land!

the perfect rolling hill!

Can you tell, the kids are being tortured here??
They are so sheltered, and these wide open spaces?? Well, they obviously don't appreciate them.

It was a BEAUTIFUL fall day..

I don't even think Uncle Ben was frightened off by the sheer amount of kids we have!!

Here's a series of AWESOME for ya...
,

Then we wandered for a while.. and found more things to bore our clones with.

They love animals...

And I love catching moments like this..

And this...

How can he be so AWESOME and sweet at the same time??

We did break his wee heart when we had to leave the sheep..

We visited the slave burial site, and I was so touched by this..

Bubs is not old enough to understand at all what this meant..
It was a beautiful symbol of purity of spirit..

What great photos!! I love the one of BamBam with the sheep...especially his holding the sheep's head! So adorable!! You need to add some farm animals!! Hehe...maybe in GA!
