I have stated time and time again..the Clones LOVE history!! And being here, there's a lot around us!

We are geeks for it! So we dragged Uncle Ben to Mt. Vernon (not that he was kicking and screaming or anything)

No photos allowed INSIDE the mansion.. so, we went a little crazy on the grounds.. Ya know.. George knew what he was doing, he has a nice spot o' land!

They are so sheltered, and these wide open spaces?? Well, they obviously don't appreciate them.

It was a BEAUTIFUL fall day..

I don't even think Uncle Ben was frightened off by the sheer amount of kids we have!!

We did break his wee heart when we had to leave the sheep..

We visited the slave burial site, and I was so touched by this..

Bubs is not old enough to understand at all what this meant..

It was a beautiful symbol of purity of spirit..
